Re: Hand caught in the Cookie Jar
[ QUOTE ]
You're a huge favorite over any hand on the flop except a set, and even at that it's probably a flip. This is a super-easy flop raise for value, as surfdoc and others have said. Waiting until the turn to raise doesn't make any sense, as your equity plummets once you brick off the turn. [/ QUOTE ] We're not a monster favorite. It's actually more like dead even on the flop, given that villain's different holdings include cards that are our outs, and we are hardly a "flip" against a set. Against a set we're 42/58. |

Re: Hand caught in the Cookie Jar
Extreme tight wad raises UTG? If you don't see two matching letters, fold.

Re: Hand caught in the Cookie Jar
JAM the flop somewhere between 467 and 468 bets as surfdoc said. Then check the turn behind. I think hes thinking about three betting you on the turn so hes definately not folding river

Re: Hand caught in the Cookie Jar
when one has a draw to a straight flush raising on the flop is needed--cap it even...you have a ton of outs and probably are a favorite to win the hand at that point, hell with a straight flush probably win a high hand bonus too.
anyway, check behind on the river... |

Re: Hand caught in the Cookie Jar
Pf call vs "tightwad"? Anyway ...
You're beat and he's not folding that river. Betting the river is pissing more chips away. Why did you not raise the flop with your orgasmic draws? You're probably a favorite. And Tightwad may even fold to the turn bet if you've raised the flop or you could choose to see the turn and river free. Waiting to raise the turn reeks of FPS ... |

Re: Hand caught in the Cookie Jar
to keep with the theme of playing every street as poorly as possible why not throw in a dark shot to perk his curiousity and get a call
