Re: PLO100 - picking up a good draw, deep, in an out of control pot
Until you can get your pre-flop leak patched up, I think it's pretty pointless discussing how to play the hand post flop.
Mainly because this is a situation you should NEVER see, calling a reraise preflop with TT93 out of position. |

Re: PLO100 - picking up a good draw, deep, in an out of control pot
ok i get the gist, fold pre. the games i play in however are a fairly small pool of players, and its not unusual for me to sit at a table with 3-4 players i have over 1000 hands played against, in some cases up to 10k (no mined hands)
sorting my hands by catagory, every PP hand above 7's is a winner for me - if anything i know i have a leak with ace wraps which dont perform as well as their reputation suggests, so i am checking my performance with hands i choose to play is it defensable to play this kind of hand every so often as a gamble (which is what i was doing) for metagame reasons?? i mean im usually running about 24/9/2.5 (15-20k hands per month), so i wouldnt say i have any major leaks preflop |

you got to see the difference between a pp with good side cards and bad ones. i think the hand might be playable from a later position for a raise if you can steal often enough.

every PP hand above 7's is a winner for me [/ QUOTE ] I guess some pros may think so too, but just keep in mind that any pair 8's to 2's often poses a straight threat... |

[/ QUOTE ] depends how well you play post flop dosent it? and unless my PT is displaying information incorrectly, AAxx thru to 77xx are all clear winners for me over a significant sample size |

Re: PLO100 - picking up a good draw, deep, in an out of control pot
gee elrazor, the only positive i see with this hand is your open ender. you have flush draw too but who knows if its live with 2 people to act behind you.
with the open ender, if your going to continue, then i dont see calling here........its either fold or push........and i cant see folding. you came this far.......play it for all its worth. you have no choice. you probably make a better flush draw fold with a push. you have to maximize your chances of drawing live on your flush. push the flop. |

You also say you see them often. For that reason I like this play. It's good to let them think you maybe play worse than (or at least gamble much more) than you do. |
