I absolutely miss hearing him commentating. This is a real treat.

heh... Bart's tempering his Bartgasms... there have been suckouts worthy of one, but he's taking it easy on them... so far.

If I were ever fortunate enough to make one of these final tables, I think I'd pass on the Lacy Jones post-bustout interview. Ugh.

Is there any way we can contact this Nick Geber fellow to tell him how much we enjoyed Bart's commentary?

I guess I am in the minority, I recognize that Bart has some knowledge, but I just find his commentating style grating. I also found his analysis of the 44 hand for Fox to be quite offbase.

Bart reads 2+2... you should detail your differing analysis and maybe he'll chime in to explain his reasoning.

I would be interested in hearing those who don't necessarily prefer Bart's commentary, compare his style to the previous color analysts on this year's WSOP so far.

Interesting that this was by far the shortest FT of the webcasts so far.

I would try to be objective, but it was easy to see IMO that this was the best telecast so far. Way more easier to follow with blinds, betting and structure thanks to Bart keeping us informed. This may have had a lot to do with the fact that the main story in this event was probably the structure in comparison to chip stacks, but the other telecasts were more hand-by-hand, "here's a raise, there's a fold," while we were able to weigh the gravity of the dooming structure that was so obvious, no matter who was on the color.

I generally agree with your first sentence (didn't see the 44 hand so I can't comment). I think he just needs to learn that less is more, you don't have to analyze every single hand and potential situation to death to be a good color commentator.
