Kevin James?

KEVIN JAMES?

Thank god you kept Steven Wright or Ellen Degeneres off the list, but gave us the king of queens.

Can't believe all the negative comments on Dane Cook. Just because those old people were the first in their genre of comedy doesnt make them funny. I can sit through all those old guys material and not laugh once.

Are you guys basing these negative comments on his T.V Performances because they are weak compared to his other stuff.

#1. Dane Cook. Honorable mentions David Cross and Patton Oswalt.

Edit: Go to Danecook.com and it automatically starts playing stand-up. And dont go in w/ an Ahole attidude.

Dude Kevin James' skit "Don't Sweat the Small Stuff" is awesome. I haven't related to so much of a comedian's material ever before or since, which is why I laugh so hard whenever I see it. Just a personal opinion.

King of Queens sucks pretty hard. His stand-up is amazing.

I agree- definitely not top 50 all-time or anything but he was added more because of his immense popularity across the US presently.

Not in the top 50? You are crazy. He is up there and will probably be mentioned with the greats when all is said and done.

I think Carlin is over-rated, always have and always will my list:

Richard Pryor
Bill Cosby

And the third and fourth is a tough one, Eddie Murphy? Steven Wright, Jamie Foxx?

Distinct lack of british talent there, and yet when it comes to comedy in general, we take some beating.

No Eddie Izzard? Bill Bailey? Peter Kay? Tommy Cooper?

Bill Hicks it is if we're going by this list.
