He didn't throw the chips, he hit the table and some chips flew at the dealer.

[/ QUOTE ]

This makes a large difference. The way I heard it before, he threw a stack of 20 chips into the dealer's face. lol rumoraments?

[/ QUOTE ]

Whatever it was, it was enough to incur a 90 minute penalty until he came back and apologized or whatever. It's hard to get a 90 minute penalty without being absurdly out of line.

He didn't get a 90 minute penalty. There is no such thing as a 90 minute penalty. Get your facts straight and come back and play some more.

He has marketed himself very well, and despite what any of you may think, he's actually a really nice guy.

[/ QUOTE ]

A real sweetheart! Verbal assault but then a sweetheart. Yeah, right. The Rodney Dangerfield defense. Insult you and then say, "You're all right." Love it.

This has nothing to do with being able to stand verbal assaults. I deal with them every day. But you are NOT a 'nice guy' if you have to use verbal assaults and heavy handed (spraying chips or tossing them at a dealer -- whatever) behavior as a part of your poker persona. He is a dick and if someone had not sat him down after his disgusting performance during his first WPT table in Paris he would have never toned down to just the obnoxious level he is at now.

Giggity

He didn't throw the chips, he hit the table and some chips flew at the dealer. This has been confirmed by the floor. Plus he tipped her $1K, also confirmed.
As far as the trash talk goes, if people can't handle it, they should stay home and play on the interweb.

[/ QUOTE ]
I tend to believe this account of events as he'd likely be banned/arrested if he actually threw chips as the rumor I heard states.
Plus he bought me beer at the rail on Sunday at the PLO event [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
