He seriously value towned me but, this seemed like an odd hand for him to show up with, especially UTG.

How many hands do you think it takes before someone's stats are reliable?

seriously 700 doesn't really give that great a picture

he could easily not have any AA or KK in that stretch(instead of the 6 he should have) that right there is ~1% pfr

throw in a few spots where the action in front changes his play to call or fold instead of raise

he could have a pfr double what his numbers show

Why did I call down? Because I thought his range was heavily weighted to PP's

We base so many of our decisions in the strat forums on stats that come from 30 hands. It just seems kind of ridiculous,

Does it get more accurate as the pfr% goes up?

If someone has a pfr of 3.5% of 1000's of hands, I think their UTG raising range is JJ+/AK

Lets not say we here. Unless the vpip is above 40 I don't bother with it without 100+ hands. Then I obviously consider that its not accurate unless it is indicated that it is over more than 1k hands although I prefer 2k+.

I think that the higher percentage pfr's will converge faster. It would be nice to have an idea how fast though
