Re: Need alchohol suggestions, brother coming home from Iraq
unbluffable, I know which post you are referring to. I use to do it everyday after work, which made my life amazingly relaxed. Have fun.

[ QUOTE ]
Vodka: Stoli is my personal favorite. Sky is ok. Real man DO NOT drink grey goose, sorry Hennessee is a must imo. If you can get Remy, power to you. Patron is good, and i don't like tequila. Don't get champagne unless there's hoes, and even then they should be drinking hard stuff. Bayleys is good for the girls too, i like to mix it with rum. For rum i suggest Brugal or Barcelo Imperial. did i leave anything out? [/ QUOTE ] yeah... your spelling skills |

Vodka: Stoli is my personal favorite. Sky is ok. Real man DO NOT drink grey goose, sorry [/ QUOTE ] No offense but real men know that vodka is mostly just vodka. The vast majority of expert taste testers can not differentiate between a $50 dollar bottle of Vodka and a $10 bottle when blind taste tested. The only difference is the perception of quality or lack there of as defined by advertising guru’s that have spent their careers convincing us that water is wine. |

Re: Need alchohol suggestions, brother coming home from Iraq
I think after serving in military your bro will be more humble, and more "simple" @ least thats how my cousin was. So I would say don't go all out with like 70$ bottles. However you know him better, so use your own discretion.
Also, "any real man know that vodka is vodka"? WTF? Myabe your taste buds don't work. |

Re: Need alchohol suggestions, brother coming home from Iraq
A really good friend of mine got back last year. My roomates and I threw him a big BBQ, we got a few cases of some nice beers (Sam Adams, Heineken, Newcastle, Purple Haze, Sweetwater Blue) a couple bottles of decent liquor ( Absolut, Jack Daniels, tanquerray, Petron) and a bunch of steaks and racks of ribs.
He said he couldn't have imagined a better homecoming, BBQ's and hanging with friends/family were the things he missed most while in the Mid-East. |
