Mr. Adanthar. Could you go into more detail about why this tool is overrated against tough opponents? i mean isnt every strategy less effective against tougher opponents?

[/ QUOTE ]

because on flops that aren't 643, your pwnage just horribly backfired.

I would like some information on how AC likely views you, Kramer.

[/ QUOTE ]

He definitely knows I know how to play because of our conversations between hands. He would also shoot me glances when someone at the table would say something about poker strategy that was clearly wrong.

[ QUOTE ]
I hope you're not thinking of checking...

In thinking back, I think Alan might have been a little deeper than I initially indicated. Let's say more like 18K-19K or so.

Sorry about the confusion.

I would bet out, making whatever bet looks like a cbet with high cards. If villain raises, I probably reraise. This is not a good hand to play slow. If villain calls, I bet the turn. I am definately willing to go allin on the flop.

AC probably has a pp. If he has a set, you are screwed. I would play it fast, because I want to win the hand or get the money in before the board pairs. If the board pairs and doesn't make you a boat, I would be concerned.

Couple AC questions

-why isn't he raising preflop?
-why isn't he leading the flop?
-why isn't he check/folding the turn?

Dunno, but it's not awful.

Because getting raised is awful and Kramer will bet more hands than he'll call a bet with here.

You can't really just c/f JJ there because people that turn a lot. Plus, folding would be exploitable as hell because JJ's probably one of the strongest hands he's ever taking this line with.

That should say "people second barrel that turn a lot".

Preflop is an interesting way to play it. He clearly went for the home run. I like it as a way to change things up.

Flop is standard.

I think the turn was probably close for him, but ultimately he decided Kramer's range was wide enough to call, and that Kramer would let him get to showdown on the river unless Kramer had him soundly beat.
