Wait for solid openers...

bleh, there has to be a better way to beat these guys than to be a nit.

we have a player who is getting in there with weak holdings against me and is willing to play massive pots...that has got to be exploitable.

[/ QUOTE ]

Get position, and open up your game more when stacks are deep.

At 100 BBs and OOP you're just going to have to tighten up.

Er ... you don't have to be a nit to pass K2 preflop 5 handed even on the button. What are your PT stats?

You could try playing less exploitably vs good players by being nittier. I'm gonna go on a limp and say that you aren't getting much credit because you play so loose and it sounds like many of your good opponents have adjusted to that. So if you feel like you cant battle them try to play less hands with them.

Basically they flat refuse to fold against me early in the hand.

What now? I'm sure this is common, post hands if you have any handy.

[/ QUOTE ]

Shove the turn if you are going to shove the river. Shoving the river represents one hand: hearts. Shoving the turn could be a set, a draw, two pair, air, top pair, pair and draw etc. You can also fold the turn. Calling then shoving sucks.

Shift gears. Time to go back to raising JJ-AA and AK imo.
