are you multitabling? if so, step back to just 1 table. you really don't want to be playing scared poker. maybe it'd be better if you got up to 500 or so before moving up? everyone else may say 40 BIs is plenty, but if you're not comfortable playing the 10s there's no magical law saying you have to play them w/ a 400 BR.

do you multitable?

if so, just add one of the higher limit in and don't look to see which one it is (so you dont play differently)

if it is that scary to you just keep playing 5s and add in a few 10s when you are playing well. That should ease the transition. Eventually you will realize that the 10s are just as easy.

You have to get used to the swongs.
