All I can is say is.. oooph! I think Aba is not as good as we previously thought, there are just so many sick players at those levels. High stakes online NL games are just not a very good way of making money these days. Live is much better..

[/ QUOTE ]....he was the biggest winner or 2nd biggest winner pretty much throughout this whole year...

Assuming its right (which i seriously doubt) he is averaging over $12 per hand after his downturn.

He has played less than 100k hands and has made 1.2 mill - if anything you should be talking about how good a player is for achieving this.

Lol @ using this graph to draw conclusions about whether online and live is best and how many good players there are at the very top of the game.

yeah OP is correct, the graph only looks amazing because of the stakes...i've seen more exciting 100NL graphs.

regardless of the stakes, it's still pretty sick. assuming all of the downswing was 300/600 (which it wasn't), its 30 buy ins. if the average stakes are 200/400, its 50 buy ins.

and still, he lost 2/3 of what he made over 80,000 hands in his last 10,000 hands.

I think a good percentage is at 2/4 PLO.

These guys play a way different level...Townsend and Ivey will play HU matches with super rich players like Kerry Packer the Aus billionaire whom Ivey once won $14 million off in a weekend session. These matches rarely get publicized but theses players are the elite of the gambling world and there is always someone who wants to play them.
