All I can is say is.. oooph! I think Aba is not as good as we previously thought, there are just so many sick players at those levels. High stakes online NL games are just not a very good way of making money these days. Live is much better.. [/ QUOTE ]....he was the biggest winner or 2nd biggest winner pretty much throughout this whole year... |

[/ QUOTE ] Assuming its right (which i seriously doubt) he is averaging over $12 per hand after his downturn. He has played less than 100k hands and has made 1.2 mill - if anything you should be talking about how good a player is for achieving this. Lol @ using this graph to draw conclusions about whether online and live is best and how many good players there are at the very top of the game. |

regardless of the stakes, it's still pretty sick. assuming all of the downswing was 300/600 (which it wasn't), its 30 buy ins. if the average stakes are 200/400, its 50 buy ins.
and still, he lost 2/3 of what he made over 80,000 hands in his last 10,000 hands. |

[/ QUOTE ] These guys play a way different level...Townsend and Ivey will play HU matches with super rich players like Kerry Packer the Aus billionaire whom Ivey once won $14 million off in a weekend session. These matches rarely get publicized but theses players are the elite of the gambling world and there is always someone who wants to play them. |
