I just got Forrest at -251 and and Hughes at -166.

Bumped the lines up to -256, and -171.

i've made a couple bucks the last few ppv's because of these threads...i'm not a big bettor, but seeing how my girlfriend actually is the one that reminds me to rent these, might as well win a couple bucks, maybe pay for the ppv rental, right??

alas, bodog hasn't put up lines yet..

Who are these people putting money on GSP? He looked horrible in the first round against Penn, and bareley squeaked out a decison that probably should have gone to BJ.

Maybe it's people doing arbitrage. I know that, for example, Hughes was -130 at SB last night.

Trailing this play, on Griffin at -233 and Hughes at -140, which are the current Pinny lines.

Greek: Griffin -265
Sportsbook & family: Griffin -275, Hughes -155

Well, I think it's everyone that has seen more than just one GSP fight. And you are right..he looked terrible in the first round against Penn...and then came back with all the heart in the world, and won that fight. Very impressive. He's been so dominant in all his other fights (not including the first fight with Hughes, where he did look damn good btw), he hasn't had to show heart like that...good to know he has it when he will no doubt need it in a brutal matchup with Hughes.

The guy has all the skills in the book. He is without doubt, one of the best fighters Matt Hughes will have ever faced (if not the best). GSP is a monster...and more than capable of beating Hughes.

On the other hand, this opening line is stunning to me. I expected Hughes to be significantly more favored than that...Thus, I'm going to be arbing the hell out of this one. I had planned on only betting GSP once the line was right, but that plan has now changed.

So far, my picks are very different from the board in the main fights...not that this is new.

The rumor on Sherdog this morning is that GSP is injured and won't be healthy to fight Hughes at UFC63. Pinnacle no longer has this fight listed so it may be true. I was ridiculing the UFC rematches in a different thread but this was one rematch I couldn't wait to see.
