josh,

c/c, c/f perhaps... i think he could be betting AK with the intention of folding to a raise, and then like checking river UI. stuff like that. he could also take a stab with clubs.

don't you get the same result vs AK if you bet turn and c/f river? true about the clubs though.

i mean i think that not being 100% where u are in a hand kinda sucks but i think that only getting action when ur beat is worse in this spot. i mean b/f costs the same as c/c...

naw man, def think he can lay AK down. hes definitely more likely to bet it for me than to call down with it.

I bet the turn and fold to a raise and then c/f river. (Maybe c/c blanks very rarly).

I think this is the best line with most of our range here.

i think draws typically bet. they're always the worst hand, when they're raised they know they're dead, and it sets up some river bluffs

i dislike checking the turn for pretty much the reason we're having this discussion. its really hard to decide how to proceed with this hand once you check, so much so that i think it simply might be impossible to be +ev. you cannot discount sets from his range and clubs/AK do not bet the turn close to 100%. also i dont think you can be THAT comfortable c/fing river on a blank given, as josh said, your hand makes nooooo sense to him on a board like this.

but i write this post keeping my limitations in mind. i really dont think *I* could check the turn and make the best decisions from then on out. i think every line that begins with a turn check leads to me getting exploited pretty hard somewhere

buuuut, you do know the villain better than i do and youre obviously a pretty sick player so if you think you can do this then sure it definitely might be more optimal than leading.
