Shoving 14x over a limp is probably pretty thin, taking a flop with KQ is far from bad.

I think there are plenty of occasions where you can push this stack size over limptards. Lots of value to be gained.
I usually do it with Ax or mid pair type of hands, though.

I might be making a mistake, never taking a flop here, I just don't like playing these types of hands OOP.

I like the hand. I think our stack is a bit large for shoving pre imo. Just check and try to peal TP decent kicker.

Flop looks fine

unless i had some sort of read i would shove the turn. I think we are still ahead of his range enough to justify shoving. And we still have the Q for a re draw.

Check/folding the turn is awful. Bet/calling and check/raising all in is far superior. Preflop a shove is decent but like someone said certainly not mandatory.

I think a shove pre has more value than taking a flop. As played never fold.
