raise the flop

the math tells me to call pf:
you need to call 12 to win 32
if you expect to get half of the effective stack on average when you hit you get ~110.
12 to 110 or ~10.9%
p(set)=2/50+2/49+2/48
p(set)=~0.122 , ~12,2%
EV=(0.122)*(110)+(0.878)*(-12)
EV=$12.37

if you assume to get half of his stack on average when you hit its a call.

You gotta find a way to try to get all the money in here. I'd probably just c/r the flop, since he's not getting away from AA, KK, or AQ, but I agree with others that if you're going to donk the turn, bet a little more setting you up for a nice river push. nh.

Fold preflop.. Your losing money in the long run calling. Even in position calling is marginal at best.

This can't be true against a fish here..

[/ QUOTE ]

Dont worry it isnt.

River is the best part of the hand wp

Not true. It's 12 to call and I think (to_call x 12) is about the stack size we want him to have. He has a stack > 12x12 left so even as a pure setmine this is a call PF.

You're right not true, but for me thats only because I wouldnt be playing my 7's just to setmine in this situation.

If you were playing your sevens for a pure setmine, then the reason you gave why it's not true isn't right, just because he has a stack size over 12X12, we DON'T. So, the effective stack is what we need to be looking at for a setmine, not the biggest stack.
