Re: Smallest Boat, Tons of Action
I thought about this again.
I put BB on JJ or QQ without question unless he is a Donkey or a Tard of some sort. I guess Buttons most likely holdings to be 77 or QJ with KK or AA being possible. |

Re: Smallest Boat, Tons of Action
The initial reaction is that you cannot pay 2 bets on this river, now though i don't think that you can even call 1 bet. When the Q hits your screwed. The only real hope for you on the turn was that one of them had QJ, now thats gone

Re: Smallest Boat, Tons of Action
I have to put the BB on AA, KK, QQ (unlikely), JJ, TT, outside chance of any pp, AK spades, AX spades, QJs (unlikely) AJo, KJs.
The button is the real delima. He might have the 77, but doubtfull he has QQ or JJ. He would raise with that, and maybe 77. So I figure him for maybe A7 spades, J7s, J2s, 72s, T9 spades, 98 spades etc... or the dreaded QJo. Whatever he has, it wasn't enough to try a steal with or he's freaky tricky. I'd be scared of TPP or SLPP or any passive type that suddenly starts betting. What makes the button difficult to place is your failure to bet on the flop or turn. So if you bet the flop or turn does the button 3 bet? If so then we know something more. As it is... I bet this river. The BB will be scared if he has AA or KK and will call. He'll possibly raise with a nut flush or 2nd nut. He'll raise with the house. The button will raise only with a flush or house but will likely call with anything as the pot is enourmous. If you check the river, both may be scared of the house and flush combo netting you zero. If the BB raises the river and button 3 bets then I'd say you have fold indications, but I'd still CC that double bet. TOONCES FULL GOOD! |

Re: Smallest Boat, Tons of Action
It looks like a crying call if it is only 1 back to you, any more and bailing must be correct.

Re: Smallest Boat, Tons of Action
Yes, the flush arriving (for me) makes betting a must as you get paid for the flush and non-house pp, but lose to the house.

Re: Smallest Boat, Tons of Action
It is certainly possible we are against a higher set but I still think we are ahead here most of the time. The set hands should raise preflop for sure.
Not 3-betting the turn is criminal imo. I lead the river and fold if its 4 BB back to me. |

Re: Smallest Boat, Tons of Action
I hate my life here. QJ, 77, and JJ are ALL possibilities. I call for one bet, hating my life if its 2.
