Re: I 4bet light and flop pair
assuming his range is AQs+ AKo TT+ it is a narrow shove as he has 65% equity, but with that much in the pot . . .), but his range could easily be KQs+, AJs+ TT+ in which case he only has 53% equity. then factor in the chances of him being an idiot and calling AI with A high I would say it is a profitable shove, but rubbish pre.

Re: I 4bet light and flop pair
We have 10% equity vs overpairs. Each time we get it in vs an overpair we lose $40 (.1 * (83+60) - .9*60).
Vs 2 overcards we have 75% equity. IF we can get it in vs them then we make $92 (.75 * (83+60) - .25*60). sooooo if you think he has overcards 33% of the time here and will shove if you check then check/call. otherwise check fold. personally, i think his range is weighted really far towards pairs. AA/KK are most likely, with a possibility of JJ/TT waiting to see a non-ace flop (i'll do that sometimes vs really aggros instead of flipping pf). he's not calling/folding anything you want him to so shoving is silly. |

Re: I 4bet light and flop pair
On an unpaired board i'd probably stack off. Here's you're probably drawing to 2 outs, so i c/f.
