If you wouldn't raise KTo here (and second to act, you shouldn't), then don't raise KTs here. Multiway pots are your friend. [/ QUOTE ] What? Getting multiple coldcalls is horrible with KTo and awesome with KTs. |

Actually, I get spooked by cold-callers when I raise something like KT. I expect cold-calls to come form hands hands like ATs and KQs sometimes AK. A bit mubsy, but good to keep in the back of your mind when you flop your Ten or King.

If you are going to play that way marchron, would you open limp this in MP1 too? How about KJs? [/ QUOTE ] UTG+1 != MP. Your statement still doesn't make any sense. Maybe if it were more like "If you wouldn't raise KTs then you shouldn't raise JTs either," but "If you wouldn't raise KTo you shouldn't raise KTs"...what do the two have to do with each other?

Why don't we raise KTo from EP? It's too weak from that position to play for top-pair value. KTs has no advantage over KTo for top-pair value, so my point stands: if you shouldn't raise a crappy, likely-dominated offsuit hand from EP, you shouldn't raise its suited cousin. But what KTs does have over KTo is multiway value, better for limping. So limp; don't raise.

marchron, I think the point where we disagree is that raising preflop automatically equals limiting the field (also, if we get 3 coldcallers vs. 4 limpers raising is still preferable IMO).
