Up to and at 1k/2k you win by playing ABC. Not by playing fancy pants poker. [/ QUOTE ] You could be right and I guess "abc" poker can be a lot of differerent things. But from what I have seen from Schneids and Hoss I believe that non "abc" poker wins at high stakes. Hoss in particular seems to play a style that is not what most posters in this forum considers "ABC" poker. Another succesfull non abc poker player is Hasuwisp on party |

Haven't read replies.
In general, in order to be masking the strength of your big hands, you should be 3-betting lighter in spots like this, not 3-betting less hands. Start 3-betting QJs or JTs or whatever sometimes, and you'll find that your 3-bets won't lose you action when you do have a monster. Calling is just asking to lose value with KK/AA, IMO. |
