Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (week of 3/12 Mon. 5-10 NL)
Hmm, this may be last week's show if they're talking about the WPT Invitational again.
Looks like it's actually "live" now. |

It's nice to hear Nichole say something intelligent once in a while. Her comments on the prognosis of this game were quite valid. I wish she would drop the giggling and continue giving us the insight she obviously is capable to do.

Yeah, it's new, but all of these 3-5,5-10 games run together.
peppe cackling and bart talking up how he beat a 3-5 player earlier in the day. Then talking about everything but poker. |

bart: you were talking about game theory about two weeks ago and your interest on it--have you read yet 'the mathematics of poker' by chen and ankerman? it came out fairly recently and has some interesting in-depth insight of the GT aspect of poker.

Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (week of 3/12 Mon. 5-10 NL)
Okay, enough hating on the show, Bart has his hands tied.
This is according to LA Tony on last weeks thread. "I hear you re: the bigger games. I'd like to see them as well from time to time. Unfortunately, there hasn't been a 10-20 NL game being spread at the Bike period - it's not just the issue that it's running but it's not on the show. The biggest NL game in the evening (at least the nights I've been there) is the 5-10 uncapped game. As you could see tonight, we had to start the 5-10 game short-handed. There aren't a lot of bigger no limit games being spread at the Bike as of late - even with the tournament going on. The general rule of thumb is that the show will try to spread the biggest game it can on any given night. My advice is the same as it is to everyone that asks me about the service - subscribe if you feel you're getting good value for the money. If you don't feel you're getting your money's worth - don't subscribe. Don't even get me started about the heads-up matches - I'm paying to watch cash game poker. The heads-up and tournament events should NOT be shown *in lieu of* cash games. - T " |

Peppe "I'm done playing suited connectors"
Okay, so you sit there and wait for aces or are you waiting to get dealt unsuited connectors? |

What's wrong with waiting for aces?
