Re: I don\'t feel like waiting until tomorrow night- NFL POWER RANKINGS
1. NE
2. Indy 3. Dallas 4. Pittsburgh Two thoughts: I think the above have playoff spots fairly locked up unless massive injuries happen (and considering how good Pitt/NE/Ind are playing so hurt, only an injury to the QB is going to be that worrisome). Also, damn. I can't wait till next week. Neither Dallas or NE has won by anything less than double digits. Should be a great matchup, definitely setting my alarm for that one. 5th best team is hard. From the bottom, worst to best: 1. Jets 2. Niners 3. Bills I think you will find those 3 teams pretty damn crappy at the end of the season. |

Re: I don\'t feel like waiting until tomorrow night- NFL POWER RANKINGS
cleveland's interesting.
awful against pittsburgh. should have 3 wins, though, as losing to oakland is inexcusable. and then we somehow combine not looking that bad against new england with also not looking good at all. i think with a qb that had anything resembling pinpointish accuracy the browns would be a potential playoff team in the afc. derek anderson does not list that amongst his qualities. |

FWIW I think NO and STL have a much higher chance of going 0-16 than Miami (none with obv.)
Next week cant get here soon enough, hopefully Dal doesnt overlook Buf. |

Dallas belongs in the topclass with Indy/NE until shown otherwise

[ QUOTE ] Houston way too high imo [/ QUOTE ] last two weeks; 16-26 @ ATL and 22-19 vs. Miami. I want to believe tho [/ QUOTE ] They really are a different team offensively with AJ in there though. The ATl loss was diappointing no doubt. I'm willing to give them one mulligan though. I'll admit that I had them higher than most to enter the season, so thats probably why my ranking might have them a tad higher than most. However I don't think they've failed to deliver this year really. |

Dallas belongs in the topclass with Indy/NE until shown otherwise [/ QUOTE ] No chance. NE and Indy both entered the season highly ranked in my rankings, Dallas did not. Theres a reason why Dallas is going to be a home underdog next week. Giving up 35 points in one game is not good. Since then they've only given up 20,10, and 7 but its been against Miami, Chicago, and St Louis. I still have concerns about their D for sure. Can anyone really make an argument that Dallas is better than either NE or INdy? |

Re: I don\'t feel like waiting until tomorrow night- NFL POWER RANKINGS
I'd put Baltimore alongside Detroit and Oakland. They haven't played one truly impressive game yet. The four teams below them all have at least one big win, some of them two of them.
Wait, I just noticed you listed all 32 teams in order by number of losses, with not one exception. Coincidence? Are you just being lazy or do you really think there's not one team in the entire NFL that's better/worse than its record after 5 weeks? Edit: I see San Diego is above a couple of 2-loss teams. I still think Cincinnati is much better than SF/KC/Denver (who all look just awful) although I admit they haven't really shown they deserve to be much higher. |
