I would tell them like I did my landlady, [censored] off, there are people here drinving way faster than I am and you come pick on me. Go mess with the [censored] that are peeling out of here instead of messing with me when I am going like 5 over.

Walk into the leasing office tommorow, talk to the top manager, make a big deal about it. They will knock $50-$100 off of next months rent.

That is what i was trying to figure out, is that vandalism for sure?

[/ QUOTE ]

I would say yes. It would be one thing if they scotch taped a piece of paper or something like that. But if it took you 45 mins and you needed to clean your windshield, it's totally vandalism IMO.

very doubtful - you've already signed lease. Means they own you until your sentence is up and then they will fill your spot with someone else.

i get upset about ppl who drive too fast in the apartment complex i live in, but I try and remember the times that I am late for work and am hurrying out the gate.

try and make an effort to not drive fast in the apartment complex...its really pretty simple -- same goes for speeding in the aspect that the time saved is so super negligible in the grand scheme of things.

don't sweat it though...everyone (normal) is guilty of having sped in an apartment complex.

Do you know it's the complex that did it? If so, go complain about them F'ing up your car. If it was another resident I'd be pissed and get revenge.

Whenever I have had problems with apartment complexes like this I have delt with it in the same way. Just go to the management office whenever they are showing people around and make a huge scene. If you are offensive enough and look like you are close to becoming violent they will not want to deal with you and will leave you alone immediatly. As long as you dont directly assult someone they basically have no recorse here.

The other option would be to just get a bunch of bumper stickers. I think I have seen one that says "how is my driving call 1800 eat [censored]". Just plaster the windows/door of the management office with this bumber sticker. They will get the point.

I once had a security guard at The Mirage scold me for speeding in the parking garage. I just said, "Sorry," and kept walking. But I really came close to asking him, "Why, what are you going to do about it? Fine me?"

I never speed any more, but when I'm on private property (like a casino parking lot), all speed limit signs are ignored. Stop signs, too.

Not much you can do if it is the apartment complex that is doing it. On a side note there is an apartment complex in MI that has a posted speed limit of 12 MPH. Not 10 not 15 but 12.

[/ QUOTE ]

In my high school's parking lot the speed limit was 11 1/2

apparantly this was to get the driver to take special notice of the speed limit and adjust accordingly
