it's the first decent stove analysis i've done in 4 years. and i'm pissed off i forgot to include flopped flushes, which i do consider a threat. I definitely advocate more use of stoving with % ranges then working out the equivalent # of combos.

Wow I would have HUGE trouble folding this. Maybe I need to reconsider.

When you think about it, it would be pretty reckless of someone with these stats to be doing this with a hand that you are way ahead of. I just think that this would be a super super disciplined fold.

Nice analysis there Peter.

Maybe this is me seeing monsters under my bed from this same situation playing live and me pushing $1100 and getting snap called by the flopped nut flush, but still, I really don't see what OP is beating at this point that plays the hand this way. Call me crazy, but I don't see AsJx limp/calling preflop and pushing the turn here from a solid/nitty player . Therefore, wth else can we be ahead of here?

well as I said i cannot fold a set in the heat of the action. i was like: oh well if she`s really got the flush i can still make my boat.
given my redraw possibilities and the slim chance that im already drawing dead i called this.
thanks for all the comments. it really made me reconsider a lot of things i didn't think of while i was in the hand.
i'll post results if you ask for, but right now i see the discussion still goin on =)

i haven't really read anything about the odds i am getting for a call here. they're like 1.5:1
so after all the discussion and peter's great post (thanks for that) i would find a fold here in the future, esp given the nitty read on villain.
i am just having a really hard time ever folding a set, prolly cause most of the time i am WA with them
