LAL +5.5- I don't think Kobe will let the drama effect him. This line is off by 3 points in my opinion.

Re: NBA 2007-08 Week 1 Thread (10/30 - 11/5)
New to this site so definately don't use my opinion, but after reading a few sites and what not and seeing lines, I took lakers +5.5 Jazz outright, and the jazz/GS under at 214.5 That seems way high to me.

I forgot GS let go of Jason Richardson. I'll pass on this game. Re: Brandon Roy http://www.covers.com/pageLoader/pag...summary_1.html He hurt his left heel during the team's first practice on the same heel that kept him out of 20 games last season. An MRI showed no major problems. |

Spurs/Blazers under 190, 1.1u to win 1 Utah +2.5, 1.1u to win 1 Warriors/Jazz under 214 1.15u to win 1 I think Blazers don't have enough firepower against the Spurs defense, especially opening night, to break 90. Should be a low tempo game, I think a more realistic O/U number is probably 184'ish. Stephan Jackson is out via suspension for the Warriors, and Monta Ellis is day to day. No key injuries for Utah, I think they cover here and the game goes under. |

[ QUOTE ]
Plays for Tuesday 10/30 Golden State -3.5 vs. Utah, risking 1.1u to win 1u [/ QUOTE ] The above looks terrible now, but not much I can do other than let it ride. Added: Spurs/Blazers under 190, to win 0.5u |

Re: NBA 2007-08 Week 1 Thread (10/30 - 11/5)
Jarrett Jack will start at point guard tonight, McMillan said, rounding out a starting lineup that also has Roy at shooting guard, Webster at small forward, Aldridge at power forward and Przybilla at center. McMillan said the second unit will include Steve Blake at point guard, Outlaw primarily at power forward, with some action at small forward, and Channing Frye, who will play center and power forward. James Jones will be the small forward on the second unit. The reserve shooting guard will be a rotation among Roy, Blake and Jack. . . . McMillan said he plans to start the game by not double-teaming Spurs star Tim Duncan. Przybilla will get the first crack at Duncan, McMillan said. . . . The Blazers exercised options that extended the contracts of Aldridge, Roy, Webster, Frye, Jack and Sergio Rodriguez by a year. The extensions keep the six players under contract through the 2008-09 season.
