sushi,

I have only been to three of these (Chez Panisse, Gramercy Tavern, Nobu-London), but it is my goal to change this. I have plans for two more in the next couple of months, French Laundry and either Daniel or Jean Georges.

Between London, New York, and some of the other European restaurants, I'd like to get to 10 as quickly as possible, hopefully within the next year or two.

sushi,

I've been to Nobu in London, NYC, and Vegas. Vegas is my favorite of the three.

D-

When in NYC, hit Daniel before Jean Georges. I feel like many would disagree, but to me this is a no brainer.

JBB,

Thanks.

NYC Q1: Megu, Buddakan, or Morimoto?
NYC Q2: David Burke & Donatella or Lever House?

I Have not been to any in Q1. Bruni was disappointed with Morimoto (just 1 star). I would vote Buddakan based on
decor.

Re. Q2. Haven't been to Lever House, DB&D is very solid. TT would push for Lever House I know.

Many people disagreed with Bruni on the Morimoto review. Morimoto and not even close if you like great Japanese. From what I hear Buddakan is more chinese/japanese/euro fusion, although yea the rooms are definitely a sight.
