I'm pretty sure this is just a publicity stunt.

If they were to actually do it either the game would have to start at midnight local time or else the US TV time would have to be altered. Also the weather in London i january is not very nice and usually the NFL tends to favor either indoor stadiums or places with nice weather (like miami...).

Wouldn't this be like moving the UEFA Championships over to the USA? While the exposure to a new market is nice, soccer will never be the #1 sport in the States, while American football will never be the #1 sport in Europe. I would bet that at least half of the people who would go watch the Super Bowl in London are Americans who made the trip across the pond. The SB is such an American tradition, this is pretty unnecessary if you ask me.

I would cry tears of joy if the Champions League Final was in the US.

I really like the way Goodell has handled the commissioner role, but this idea isn't good at all.

Wouldn't this be like moving the UEFA Championships over to the USA?

Or moving the World Cup to a place like the US or Korea/Japan. It would never happen.

Level? You probably didn't read my post properly.

National Football League (in the US) = USA
UEFA = Europe
World Cup = World

Get it?

Ya think there would be any security concerns having the Superbowl in London ?

Talk about killing two birds with one stone.
