Worst case?

Evil hacker has taken control of the domain, and will shortly bring it back online with a "important patch" that contains custon (hard to detect) trojan/keylogger or similar, knowing the market of pokertracker is online $$$ rich.

Many pokertracker users update (as is normal) then lose their rolls to hacker scum = bad times

There are probably many even worse cases, but I think most could imagine that would be bad enough.

I assume it means the website has been hacked so you shouldn't update your version of pokertracker if an update appears soon until you know it is safe.

k serious question. how often are most of you guys having 10 buyin downswings? Just had my second one this year, hopefully this is where it stops. Unfortunately I have learned that I am still not tilt-proof

[/ QUOTE ]

Wow, whats your standard diviation?
I have 2-3 10bi downswings per month (every 15k-20k hands with std diviation of 100 big blinds/100 and 6ptbb/100 winner

[/ QUOTE ]

no idea, I guess im pretty fortunate that I dont get more frequent downswings, but when they do happen they are big - the last one was about 15 buyins, tilt-free. This one I can definitely blame tilt for at least 3.

Yeah. I think a notice comes up when you open pokertracker letting you know about an update and then asks whether or not you would like to download it.
