It's awesome. One of my favourite things about my poker side income is being able to treat my best friend (who is a poor artist) when I visit him. I know money isn't everything, but it sure is something.

sooo...late in the night, bored, roomie gets call from asian lab pard. she is at a party or something, we gather some of our floormates, decide to go meet up. 4 white guys and me. (this is significant, i promise). so we drive, meet her at this house.

we find out its a [censored] frat party and there are like 10 guys and 3 girls including her. then we find out that we cant even get in (obv, i could have told you that one). not that i'd want to go in anyway, stupid fratty boys.

so anyways, she gets a call from her BF or whatever, i guess theres this other party we can go to. she says its very 'asian' dominated. now, i grew up in NE for the last 8 or so years of my life, and before that was FL, so i dont really have any asian friends. a twinkie if you will. so we hang out with her/her bf at the apartment for a bit, then go over to this crazy asian party.

wellll, as it turns out, its in an apartment and we had to wait in the hall to make sure its cool with host that we come in. turns out, they all start popping out in the hall (douchebag here, douchebag there) and stared at us like we were [censored] monkeys in the zoo.

friends have never been discriminated against before, this is their first time. we hear that we cant go in the party because 'there are too many people' (crockofshit) and we cant go. bye bye two hours of our life (not that i was doing anything important anyway).

The games were super good on my own private little fish farm today. 800 hands (4-tabling on small screen laptop...dont ask) +$850.

It's not a downswing. I'm just experimenting w/ new plays/revamping my game and such. I've already accepted the swingy part of this as inevitable. I feel I've figure some [censored] out now and am ready to go back to my "normal" game w/ some new weapons. All the good pros do this. They seldom have winning sessions while incorporating new theories into their game. We(good pros) call this a rebooting period.
