Both Harris and Terry can play the point pretty well.

[/ QUOTE ] You are basing this on what? Terry is clearly better, but I still don't think either one run the offense well.

Basing it on what? Gee, I dont know, the fact that they won 67 regualar season games with Terry starting at the point?

[/ QUOTE ]and with Dampier at the center spot! Is Dampier a good center?!? Your logic here is asanine.

They didn't just win. They [censored] annihilated DAL. At least Denver beat Sonics in 5 tough games.

The two headed monster of Dampier and Diop is pretty valuable, actually.

when combined sure, but looked at individually you can't honestly tell me they couldn't have two better players for a comparable salary?

BTW, I didn't realize they are still paying Shawn Bradley!

Wtf are you talking about? How did this discussion go from their "weakness" at the PG position to their weakness at the center position?

and you're welcome from the econ lesson.

yeah I saw that as well. Looking at their roster, they should be dropping about $14mill in the offseason. This is of course assuming the re-sign Stack. $14mill is a lot of money and I am sure they could get New Jersey to eat some of Kidd's salary. If not, they pay luxury tax for nest year and enjoy not having to pay Finley $18.5 a year in 08/09.

Although at least they aren't the Knicks - when looking to see when Kidd was a FA, I noticed that Houston will be in the FA Class of 2007!

fwiw, I don't think they need any help at the PG spot. Think Terry and/or Harris is better than most on the market. During the regular season, the DAL offense was beautiful thing to watch. That ISO with Dirk (and often Stack) between the free throw line and the top of the key is so rock ROCk.

DAL is just fine. They need to get tough. Dirk needs to grow a pair. They need to attack the rim when the going gets tough. Harris showed he knew this in game 5. They need to keep it up.
