I'M SO PISSED..

Went to click on my PAHud in my system tray last night in mid-session because I had to shut off the tournament bug on PS, and it accidentally opened my PT. I saw my profit and I started playing HORRIBLE.

I was at $926, and haven't had a 1k day in a week or so and so after grinding another 1k hands, I ended up +999.25 in 2k hands.. [censored]. I just couldn't do it.

But, I got 103rd in the 10r to bump me over the top. Holla.

This post is full of thinly veiled brags. Seriously.

Also, I am trying to learn how to '3-bet light' - it seems to be all the rage at the moment.

dont 3bet light at 10NL. most pple dont take the money serious enough. I think playing ABC poker in those limits is the best, get a bankroll and move up asap, then u can 3bet light .

Well I'm new to Party but if you can disconnect on purpose and if that's what he did, then that is the most despicable thing I've ever seen on a poker table.
You'd be shot for less in the Wild West.

I appreciate the comment but I think that the reason people say that it is not worth it at 10NL is because there are very few thinking players, however, villain in the hand is very much a thinking player.

I think that it can still be ok to do this at 10NL but only against thinking players.

In that case its wrong, cos ur likely dominated if he calls. I would more likely 3bet light with hands like 89s, because that gives u the besthand more often then A5s. and then u know where u stand more often if a low flop comes.

I think I see what you mean. I am still experimenting a bit and obviously 10NL is not the best place to do it, but at least errors are less costly. I think I am going to read a bit more about it on 2p2 (there are some great threads and gelfords 50NL vid is what really got me thinking) and give it another shot.

I would wait til nl100 or nl200 to start 3-betting light. Just play solid TAG and wait for the retards to 3-bet you light at nl25 and nl50. You'll be playing better cards in better position against them and it's so much easier to win playing like that.
