It really feels like walking a tight rope when you are doing it right. You can almost play it completely blind... Supposedly Annette 15 did win one of those 180 player SNG's playing blind. I believe it's very possible.

In 9 player SNG's, I felt like 50-100 was the round to start opening up my game, in 18+ I felt like 75-150 was the round to start opening up.

The reason I think GM would own is because he is so good at getting people to hand him stacks in cash.

CDL does this strategy well, raising about 2.5 times the big blind as a steal, atleast I thought he was doing a good job in the The Main's Full Ring Challenge Main Event

lol..yeah I just got done looking at that.

Sorry about the stacking earlier. You surprised me with having AQ, figured you had KK from the preflop play.

[/ QUOTE ]

you stacked me when I had AQ? Check the hh, if it is me, pm it cause I dont have it..

[/ QUOTE ]

I will have to look it up this evening when I get home. You were on several of my tables and I think I was on 12 at the time, so I may have been hallucinating.

Went something like this...

You (UTG) - Raise $4
MP - Calls $4
Me (BB) - Raises to $14 or $15

You call, MP folds. Flop comes Qxx (xx low cards)
I fire about 3/4 pot, you call

Don't remember turn card but think I pushed and you called and showed AQ. I had AA, was worried you hit set w/QQ when you called the flop bet and then called my push on the turn.

When I am on 12 tables and watching TV and talking to my wife and fighting with the cat, sometimes I lose my mind, so it might of been guy setting next to you or something.

I would get pwned by the high stakes SnG pros. Im done with the steps anyway and am gonna concentrate on sats to the 650 qualifier. Already played a few and have gotten [censored] close to the bubble twice.

Also my heater aint over yet

I just bubbled ANOTHER [censored] qualifier, 3rd when top 2 pay and I was chip leader with 3 left. This is seriously the most frustrating thing ever.

What do people think is more +EV, steps or sats to 650 qualifiers?

I played a few steps this weekend. Got to step 3 on my first try and got absolutely nothing to play until blinds went up.

Finally pushed with a decent hand and got called by a dominated hand that of course hit their 3 outer to win. Reminded me again why I quit playing SNG's.

Not sure why I am even playing them, as I am supposed to be going to Vegas for CES which is the same time as the PCA. So if by some miracle I win a PCA trip, I will have to cancel my Vegas trip which I have been looking forward to for months (never been to LV).
