Shizzle

Its fine if stacks are very deep and fish are likely to call you. I prefer it from later position though.

is it a leak to raise hands like 67s in Early position? I do it when i play with opponents who pay a little bit attention and when a total donk who is donating huge is at the table. Because of the huge implied odds and when i flop something like 799, hell call u down with almost anything..

[/ QUOTE ]

God.. Its fine to raise 23o UTG as long as you know why you doing it. Certainly not for the implied odds since they effectively do not exist OOP.

I got my br to 1k. I am not yet taking shots at 50 nl because i played just 15k hands of 20nl and i am not that confident about my game.

Take some shots. Move down if you drop below 750.

I love playing like an idiot when I am on tilt, what people will call at the micros is £$^$£%"$£%:

I'M SO PISSED..

Went to click on my PAHud in my system tray last night in mid-session because I had to shut off the tournament bug on PS, and it accidentally opened my PT. I saw my profit and I started playing HORRIBLE.

I was at $926, and haven't had a 1k day in a week or so and so after grinding another 1k hands, I ended up +999.25 in 2k hands.. [censored]. I just couldn't do it.

But, I got 103rd in the 10r to bump me over the top. Holla.

Also, I am trying to learn how to '3-bet light' - it seems to be all the rage at the moment. I don't think that this deserves its own thread and all the best advice is in the brew anyway.

Is this a correct situation to 3-bet and was it executed well, including the flop raise:

Villain is at 14.5/14.5 with flop AF of 3 and usually always c-bets. I 3-bet pf because it looked like a positional raise and the flop bet was clearly a c-bet... was this ok or risky?

Button ($11.55)
SB ($17.65)
Hero ($12.40)
UTG ($13.85)
MP ($18.40)
CO ($38.85)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
3 folds, Button raises to $0.4, SB calls $0.35, Hero calls $0.30.

Flop: ($1.20) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, Button bets $0.7, SB folds, Hero raises to $2.7, Button folds.

Final Pot: $4.60

EDIT: oops - did not 3-bet pre but is it ok anyways? And would 3-bet be better than calling? --- I think that I did not 3-bet because of the other player calling.

He seems okay, but I would squeeze preflop, you didn't 3-bet pre, you c/r the flop. But I like it.

I just rivered the nut flush against a guy who rivered the 2nd nut on Party. He minraised me on river, I raised AI and he disconnected. He got his free showdown and then reconnected next hand. I've been playing an hour with him and it's his only disconnection.
Sweet divine baby Jesus, I'm tilting hard.
Could that be deliberate? He's on my buddy list and will be hunted to the ends of the earth. If I find out that any of his family play, I'm gonna get them too.
