I think they need to do everything in their power to fight for survival. AS LONG AS YOU ARE NOT HURTING THE VILLAGE. Claiming villager when you are actually a villager doesn't hurt the village. However, faking seer, will hurt the village.

Desperatly trying to lynch anyone other than yourself, trying to subsitute your own survival over the village's combined judgement, is anti-team. Of course, all of this changes if the seers are dead, but still, when you think the game hinges on your life or death, that's anti-team arrogance in my view, and I refuse to succumb to it.
