Redbean,

Do you think Bonds ever took PED's? (knowingly or not)
Do you think Bonds is probably a prick?
Do you think the media has a vendetta against him?

My answers are all yes. How bout you?

[/ QUOTE ]

1. I have just as much of an idea as anyone, which is none, given that the man hasn't even been afforded the ability to present his defense to the reckless allegations. One side of the story has been rehashed for 5 years running, despite it being deemed unfactual, and people have rushed to judgement in the court of public opinion without waiting to give the man a chance to present his side. I'll wait to give the man the chance to present his side of the story, and reserve my judgement until then.

All I know for sure is that he has never violated the MLB steroid policy, the rest is all speculation and allegation...and it just hasn't been proven.

Call me crazy, but I believe in things like innocent until proven guilty, and in affording a man the ability to confront his accusers and defend himself against allegations.

[/ QUOTE ]

I cut out the rest of that because I agree with you almost 100%. I happen to think he is probably a prick in most facets of his life but it has no bearing on my opinion of him as a player. And the media clearly has an agenda.

But as for the steroids thing, lol. While he has never tested positive there is a ton of circumstancial evidence that points to Bonds taking some sort of PED's. Do you agree with this?

In reality, even if he took PED's I dont care. A ton of people were/are taking them. Would not change my opinion of him one bit if he were cleared or tested positive.

Yes they owe the fans nothing.

Millions of dollars paid because of 5 dollar hot dogs and 9 dollar beers and over priced tickets.

And the racist jerk won't even sign a baseball for a white little kid.

Overpaid cheaters (NOT JUST BONDS)
Whiny Cribabies
etc

Japan has the right idea about baseball

YOu know most of the fans at last weeks seahawks football game missed the opening kickoff because they were too busy cheering a BASEBALL player from japan (Ichiro) who is a class act.

Imagin that football fans missing a football game because of a baseball player.

Now if bonds was at that game I would spit or throw beer on him. (Because I'm just a big scummer like him)

[/ QUOTE ]

Ummm....

Dont go to the games?
Dont buy the hot dogs?
Dont buy the coke?
Dont buy the shirt?
Dont watch the game on tv?

The market supports the prices. If it changes, the prices will change.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes having a AC'ist stick up for barry bonds make's me hate him even more.

And NO since EVERY GAME of the season is not sold out the prices are too high.

IF they cared about the fans the prices would be lowered to a level where every game would be sold out and they would be making the same amount of money.

But it's not about fans it's about milking dummies who want to see a steroid infested scumbag hit home runs.

" Hey barry will you sign my son's ball......."

" NO he's white"

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't think you really understand how stuff works.

At all.

Not an AC'ist. Maybe leaning that way, but irrelevant.

Although a statist having your opinion is quite typical. If you dont get what you want, force someone to give it to you. I am guessing you would prefer standardized pricing across all the ballparks and ponies for all of the kids to ride between innings?

"dummies who want to see HR's" = fans.

Is that a direct quote? Linky please.

What evidence? The GoS book? We've established that respected journalists view it as unable to be viewed as factual.

As for "tons of evidence"....if that were the case, why has it been so difficult to even manage a simple indictment, despite 4 years and 3 tries?

Any prosecutor worth his salt can indict a ham sandwich, and the burden of evidence is merely a "probable cause", and not even "beyond a reasonable doubt", much less a "preponderence of guilt".

The actual people looking at the actual factual evidence haven't even found a probable cause to even go to a trial!

When bonds made the statement that " If I was in charge of this team we would win it all "
Stems from the fact that he would try to put himself at 1b 2b 3b ss pitcher catcher and all the outfield postitions at once like bugs bunny used to do ?????
