Has anyone saying they got tickets gotten through the Rockies website, or have they gotten them elsewhere?
Just want to confirm whether the server issue referenced on Craigslist is true |

I suspect it's not true, because just looking up a whois and finding the business address of the company owning a domain doesn't mean squat re the location of the servers. But I don't know anyone who's gotten tickets yet, and a bunch of my co-workers are trying.

not only isn't anyone I know getting tix, we only occasionally get into the virtual waiting rooms and then they don't refresh. People trying in Mass, Colorado, Indiana, etc, so it's not a location specific thing.

[ QUOTE ]
The pats are probably going to win the SB, so I need the rocks to pull through here so I can avoid the perma life tilt that would come from two NE teams winning the titles. [/ QUOTE ] No sweat. Rockies beat Hamels and swept Phillies, so why can't they dispose of Red Sox? I like Rockies in five. I also like Broncos over Pats in NFL playoffs, considering they've PWNED the Pats for decades now. As for Nuggets, I don't care for Karl & Anthony, but they'll still wipe the floor with the new Celtics... |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Rockies 4-0... there is no other answer. [/ QUOTE ] It does seem that anything less would be unfitting. [/ QUOTE ] Seriously the only way the ROX don't sweep is if the Red Sox luckbox like they did in that last series. [/ QUOTE ] Oh, it's "luckbox" when you outscore the opposition 30-5 over three games. Thanks for the clarification. |

[ QUOTE ] Excuse my physics ignorance, but is the implication that thin air will make the knuckleball an even crazier pitch to hit, or that it will hang there and get swatted? [/ QUOTE ] The thin air will make all pitches move less. So, the fear is Wakefield could look like he's pitching slow pitch softball. [/ QUOTE ] I don't think Francona has discussed his rotation yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if Lester gets the start instead of Wake. |
