So yesterday I lost a little over 2k, not playing badly at all, basically just being coolered and drawn out on, mostly drawn out on. I checked poker ev after the session and saw that I was -1250 on all in luck, this was in one [censored] session. So anyway I decided to own 200nl today, and hey...I did. Good to have a nice day like this today, suck it poker gods.

Wow I'm at my lowest point ever with regards to poker, a little over 40k breakeven. I dont even know if I can win at poker anymore. Is this long of a breakeven stretch even possible for a winning player? I literally shake these days when I sit down to play a session cos I know i'm one day closer to putting my fist through my screen.

I'm not going to pull an Fgators and say its just been bad luck and nothing else, but strangely I still feel like i've been playing decent through this whole stretch which makes it an even harder pill to swallow. I think my W$SD is like 47% over this stretch for 6 max...could be even less, so I def have been running ugly. I guess its true what they say you'll one day run worse than you thought possible.

No real point to this post, just thought i'd mark this time somewhere so that I can look back once I get out of this downswing. I have guys helping me with my game so hopefully its all uphill from here.

Sorry for ranting

Are you responding to my post? If you mean why do -2k days keep happening well I usually have 1 or 2 per month and I should really just learn to stop bitching about them because days like those are inevitable. I really shouldn't get pissed off about those really bad-luck days that happen 1-2 times per month since I've had like 3 really solid months in a row, but hey I'm human.

I was thinking of doing the same thing after semi-decimating my roll yesterday with some 3-6nl and 5-10nl shots in which I got sucked out on, but just decided to grind 1-2 hard core for a while before playing higher again. So far so good. Anyway my suggestion is not to force yourself to move down because it's a different style of play at .5/1 and there's no need to readjust when you're going to be moving back up again soon. Just grind some 1-2 and play tighter and maybe fewer tables and maybe even talk out loud about your thought process during hands, that last tip sounds stupid but is actually really really helpful.
