So I came up with a new strategy tonight that might save some frustration for that first hour at the table.

I do believe that from now on I will buy in with 3 racks instead of 2. The first one will go into the middle like a splash pot on my first hand of the session, and I will then play from there with the other 2 racks. TR to follow.

My favorite hand of the night.

MP opens, Hero 3 bets from SB w/ black queens.

flop: Q66

bet, call.

turn: 7

Bet, call.

river: 9

bet, raise, 3-bet, 4-bet, 5-bet, 6-bet, I give up and call.

66 gooooooooot.

Pope was disapointed that I didn't open muck to the 6-bet.
I was disapointed that I can't run good enough to river a Q.

I shoulda laid like 10:1 odds that this hand would be posted before I got back home, and I only left 30 minutes after you! That guy in the 2 seat was really giving you crap, but he was just jealous. He calls me 'rookie' everytime he sees me. I just take his chips.

I also had a fun hand against the guy you went too many bets with aces full of queens a few weeks back, when he turned quad queens.

Three limpers, I raise JJ, button calls, SB (villain) calls, BB calls, all limpers call. Flop comes T33, SB donks???, everyone folds to me, and I'm confused, but I call, and button folds. Somehow this is heads up on turn. Turn is a 6, and river is a 9, and I simply call his bet each time, and he OBV has 53. I shoulda made a captain amazing fold on the turn.

-At one point some guy gets in a pot against our maniac, and on the river the board is T54A4. Maniac bets and 3bets and other guy calls with 55. In my estimation 55 guy left about $500 on the table with this awful play. Maniac just would raise and raise and raise with no matter what he had on any given hand. This hand he had 22.

-HU 13 bets go in on an A55 board, and AQ is good.

-9 bets go in preflop HU, and KT beats AK.

-Asian guy and maniac go 7 bets on the river on a 843J9 no flush board. J9 beats KJ. They would have gone more bets but maniac accidentally did a string raise on the last bet so it turned out to be just a call.

Somehow I managed to pull a $900 profit out of this game after being stuck 2 racks early. I never got the chance to put in like 15 bets on the river against the guy, which was all the more frustrating because everyone else was getting in good situations for it to happen but then wimping out after like 4 bets only to be shown ten high, and I'd see the showdown and decide I would have won all the monies if I had been the guy with the winning hand.

Well I suck and this hand was the only one that was not boring as hell.

I bet without realizing for the 500th time I have flopped a flush against 1 pair only to have the board show trips on the river. He calls quickly and I die a little inside. I show hand, he looks at the board, then looks at his hand then shows me A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] before mucking.
