[ QUOTE ] Any updates on this? [/ QUOTE ] It's still in testing with about 100 beta users; once I'm happy with accuracy/bugs I'll make the beta publicly available. I don't want people getting bogus results. It'll be under two weeks. [/ QUOTE ] Thx |

Re: Sklansky bucks calculator (php script)
sounds like you don't have a Postgre SQL database. Do you?
If not, go to poker tracker forums to find out how to get it |

hey phil, will your version be SNG compatible at all? or is it cash strictly? [/ QUOTE ] It wouldn't be hard to add SNGs, all the framework is there and the database tables are similar. But I don't know how useful you guys would find it without extra work such as factoring in $EV from chip EV, adding a heap of filters and providing other stats. But I'm happy to do the basics after the cash game beta, and get some feedback on what else you want. Perhaps someone else like Juk can develop it after that. |

[/ QUOTE ] Phil, I think adding SNGs and Tourney functionality would be nice (I would keep it simple at first and then deal with some of the unique situations if you felt inclined.). I am just starting to use the beta, and my reaction so far is that this is an absolutely outstanding piece of software. For those that don't have it yet, look out for the release because Phil has come up with something special. I will try to provide more insightful feedback after I get a chance to delve into it more. One thing I would change is the requirement to click 2 buttons to load the hands and then read the hands. I'd like a one-click version so I could check how I'm doing during a session. Another really cool feature would be to track the hands as your playing a session automatically and spit out your EV after showdown hands occur. I also found some bugs when trying to do certain graphing functions (it basically plopped up the Visual Studio error message, but then let me keep on using it). Bottom line: its fantastic and can't wait to seeing what I can do to help you improve it even more. Toast |

Re: Sklansky bucks calculator (php script)
Toast,
Thanks! Glad you find it useful. Just a note: for you and anyone else using it, I've found a couple of bugs in the calculation of SB in a few specific situations, which may throw out your aggregate results. Most NetSB results will be correct but some won't be. I made a post in the forum about it. So just be cautious about the results for a couple of days until the next private version comes out. |
