Re: movies that have made you cry? (men only plz)
Not having read through the replies my most recent pick would be Brokeback Mountain; when Ennis finds out about Jack's death and goes back to Jack's parents and finds his old shirt among Jack's things...how about that for being secure in my sexuality?
Also, Bridges of Madison County, Life is Beautiful, and several episodes of Band of Brothers. Swede |

Oh [censored], I forgot about the scene in Casablanca when Victor Laszlo leads the french refugees in a round of "la marsiellaise" to drown out the nazis chorus. [/ QUOTE ] Good one. I am a total sucker for the "don't amount to a hill of beans" speech at the end. Other weepy favourites: The Elephant Man Schindler's List It's A Wonderful Life Whale Rider Life is Beautiful Truly Madly Deeply The Abyss (two people one respirator scene) |

Best of the Best, when Dae Han tells Tommy that his brother was a great fighter and that he offers himself as Tommy's brother. Then all the other Koreans give the American guys their medals. I get chills just thinking about it. [/ QUOTE ] This is one of the first ones I thought about. That's probably the manliest "cry" I know of. Most recent movie cry: Pursuit of Happyness. I knew it was coming the entire time, but his reaction - and just thinking of all the [censored] he went through...wow. |
