Could be a blessing in disguise. GC has by no means been impressive so far, while McGowan has been lights out in Triple A. I'm a McGowan-believer, and now would be a very clutch time to come through and earn a spot on the staff.

Oh, and Doc is as automatic as they come.

Mike Pelfrey
Random AAA starter(Chan Ho Park, Jorge Sosa, ect).

And I'm serious. I'd take Toronto just for Roy.

Meh I'd actually rather see them call up McGowan than put Towers in there. Towers just doesn't have it anymore. Something is wrong with his head.

Problem is - isn't McGowan getting pretty close to being out of options? How many more times can they send him back down? Hrm, oh well, gotta be better than Towers.

By the way I watched the game tonight and I can say it was literally one of the best pitched games I've ever seen. Halladay barely threw a ball all night.
