[ QUOTE ] What is your favourite food? What is your favourite restaurant to eat out at? [/ QUOTE ] Answered food already. Restaurant: Shintaro at the Bellagio and Lou Malnati's pizzaeria in chicago [/ QUOTE ] What? No Geno's East, or CPOG? Who makes the best Beef sandwich in Chicago, in your opinion? Cubs or Sox? Malnati's is great pizza though, so not a bad choice. Do you consider Pizzeria Uno or Due in your top 5? |

One last suggestion, if you've never been, you should go to the Chop House in Chicago. One of the best, if not the best, steak houses I've ever been to. Get the Prime Rib, thank me later. [/ QUOTE ] ABSO-FRICKIN-LUTELY TRUE!!!!! |

Re: The Well: Green Plastic
OT: For some reason, and I wish I knew that it was, the website works (i.e. Apache responds to requests) for me in OSX, Windows, & NetBSD. It doesn't like OpenBSD or Debian. I'm thinking there is something quirky about those packets that is causing them to be dropped somwhere, for some reason. HIGHLY descriptive, I know, but I'm not a networking guy.
Slow downloads are probably just due to high traffic. Maybe try off-peak times? Questions for GP: Will EM2 make another video? Please make him! Have you ever asked Aba to make one? That would be awesome. Is there a future in Poker or has the bubble already burst? I.e. do you think that the industry will grow (Europe & Asia) or wither? |

Re: The Well: Green Plastic
GP,
I've noticed you fold a lot of small or even middle PPs in the videos in spots I would almost always call getting at least 10-1 from another players stack. Can you explain why you fold these hands a lot? The examples I am mainly thinking of are from video 43 (3-6 NL) where at the beginning you fold 77 to a 4.5x raise from the button ($600 stacks) and later you fold 33 OTB to a UTG 3x raise ($320 effective stacks). Thanks for your time. |

Re: The Well: Green Plastic
Great to hear from you Taylor, and thanks for all the advice!
Here's more of a general question. I know that players can beat the game with a variety of styles from TAG to LAG. I'm wondering if you know of any key characteristics that might make a style more profitable than the other? Not just something like Great hand reader - pro for LAG style, or conservative/patient - pro for TAG style and such. I mean specific things that would make one style more profitable for a player even if it wasn't his current style of play. Thanks! MM... |

Basically he said that even if you hit your set, unless you have a read that a guy has a super premium hand, you are probably not going to stack him. And pairs less than 88 only have value in sets, so he likes the pairs 88 and above which are playable on their own after the flop. I'll let him answer, but this was what I picked up from his video. |
