Re: $4/180 challenge - Tonight @ 8:00
9th. Not bad for my first try. Actually, this was the first time I have ever 4 tabled. The most I have done before this was 2 tables. It really wasn't that bad. I think it's more difficult than 2 tabling sng's, especially when you get short handed.
It was fun. I'm sure I will be back next week. |

Still, there must be some joy in being our 1st repeat winner... [/ QUOTE ] Long version: (cliff notes below) yeah - I had 160K and had TT vs a 30K stack open-shove lets see if I can remember all of the nightmare: TT >> A8o QQ >> 57s JJ >> AJo and that was all 4 handed still (yea, that doofus took a 2.5:1 chip lead on me for a while) obv I overcome/fight back and get HU fairly even stacked He snapped off a bluff on a 78T6J board w/ 75o (he called the turn and river) then he kept giving me 3+:1 when I had two overs + OESD, needless to say I whiffed everytime. Some of those times I had flushdraws that missed too. Not kidding. Probably close to a dozen of those draws I missed. at this point I'm titling a little bit and manage to get away from some hands that should've been really good for me, but didn't end up the 'right way.' finally JJ <<< K3o for the kill - I knew I shoulda folded it, but like I said, I was tiliting.....(1/3 stack preflop, rest on flop) I made at least a dozen solid laydowns to that guy, and just never had much to trap him with....and when I did - he outdrew me everytime. Cliff notes: mostly I blame my tilt, though the cards stopped going my way 4 handed big time....the joy of the 1st repeat winner is so tainted right now in my mind without that win. So disappointed/upset w/myself over it. |
