i bought in for 500 last month. started out in .25/.50 and i'm a couple of buyins from having 2k and moving to .50/100.
is there a doom switch at 2k? see you boys at the top.

I am just over 2K and still playing 25PLO as my main game(am I a BR nit?), with usually one, sometimes two, of my 4 tables at 50PLO. I really don't think 2K is enough for 100PLO..... but as long as you are prepared to move down should you have a downswing you should be fine.

I have some kind of psychological bankroll. I should be playing maybe $1/2 PL/NL and $5/10 limit games, but I don't feel comfortable losing $200 in a hand. It's just too much money in real life. So instead I am stuck playing 50-100 PL and 2/4 - 3/6 limit

i sure hope 20 buy ins is enough for me. if i lose 5 bi's at the next level, i'll just move back down to the .50 game.
i think i'll do ok. my biggest downswing so far is 8 buyins and i was playin good too. some hands i gambled on but it was also against maniacs that i was ahead of as far as their range was concerned. my hands were a little thin........but better than theirs. know what i mean? anyone play good and lose more than 10 bi's? i dont want to hear about it if there was some tilt involved. i would just like to hear about downswings when playing good. anyone?

i managed to dump 15 bins earlier this month in about a week, i find it a huge psychological slog getting out of the red on PT, once i hit green thos i tend to find the game much easier

When I started PLO25, I stayed in the black but it was a roller coaster for the first few thousand hands. Then I rocketed upward. Now at PLO50, I went up about 2 BI and now I'm at -2.5 BI over about 3K hands... very demoralizing. I've gotten my money in good many times and variance takes a crap all over me (I've also gotten my money in bad a couple times but didn't suck out). Patience... Patience... Stupid PT is always reminding me that I am in the red.

Hooray... got allin with TT77 on a J98 flop with a flush draw too against a maniac with 5544 with a worse flush draw.
Send those chips my way dealer...
