Re: 1-table S&Gs - your feedback requested
150/300 level isnt as big a deal as you think it is. More 10 and 18 player sngs are important, because the difference between 9 players and 10 players is significant in regards to rake. 18 player sngs start to become very beatable.
Rake is absurdly high for SNGs as well as 6-max sngs and HU sngs. Rake should be based upon how many hands you are dealt, so there's no reason why you should pay roughly the same rake for a SNG as an MTT. |

Re: 1-table S&Gs - your feedback requested
Also the SNG leaderboard is a bad idea because people will share accounts. Better would be individual goal bonuses based on number of SNGs played per week/month, etc, if you're not willing to reduce the rake across the board. People who play high volume SNGs should get rewards aside from Supernova.

Re: 1-table S&Gs - your feedback requested
Stars should be more micro-stakes friendly.
And as always, we're looking for a delicious Rakeback. As for Micro-stakes friendly, 20% rakes for the $1 SnG's is outrageous. What would also be nice is $1 HU SnGs and even 1c/2c HU tables. There should also be $1 turbos. I believe currently the lowest turbo is $3? |

I'm a bit amazed at how little most in this thread realize how a 10 v 9 payout structure effects and has effected winrates. Everybody is just used to single digit roi's now I guess.

[/ QUOTE ]Why would 10 v 9 payout structure affect ROI? [/ QUOTE ] Why are 100% ROIs attainable in 1000 person tournaments but not 9 player tournaments? It's all relative. Increasing the player pool generally helps immensely. |

Re: 1-table S&Gs - your feedback requested
Being a 9-man tourney drops the possible ROI and makes the rake that much more of a factor. The rake is already taking away 30-90% of your edge against other players so any small changes really effect a players' ability to make money.

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] oh btw, ... and implement the bet pot button plz! [/ QUOTE ] no betpot plzzz! [/ QUOTE ] Why not? I find that the 'bet pot' button on UB causes fish to make terrible bet sizing errors, particularly early game. [/ QUOTE ] I think it's more often the other way around. Fish play closer to correct when they don't get to pick their bet sizes and just mash the pot button. |

Re: 1-table S&Gs - your feedback requested
I don't like ten mans. Ten mans = less skill required since you end up folding more hands yet the sng takes the same amount of time, so there are less profitable plays to be made = less edge for the good player.
