Re: How many online pros average +500k a year in the world?
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] D, "the comparison to some corporate employee is ridiculous, especially in the propaganda style way ElD presented it." It's less a comparison and more an observation. [/ QUOTE ] The average American earns approximately $15000, although this is also kinda irrelevant tbh... [/ QUOTE ] It's also really wrong - GDP per capita PPP is $44,000 (2006 est) says CIA World Factbook. [/ QUOTE ] It may be correct if by "average american earns" he is literally dividing the population (300 millionish) by the total earnings, but that would be a misleading way of presenting that number. [/ QUOTE ] is there any way to find out how that number would change if you took out the top1% from the sample |

Can someone give me a ballpark about how much someone just out of college/grad school can expect to make on Wall Street?

Re: How many online pros average +500k a year in the world?
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] dont look at average, look at median [/ QUOTE ] What's the median wage in the US? I'd be prepared to bet it is closer to $45k than $15k [/ QUOTE ] I was going to post "I'll take that action," but then I looked it up. Its close, but at $35,449 the average wage in the US (in 2005) is closer to $45k than $15k. linky Given that there are certainly obscene earners of $200k plus in that sample, I think its actually pretty close whether the median is closer to $45k than $15k. I'll still take $15k. Can anyone googletard better than me and find the median? |

Are a large percent let off before they work three years, or are you basically set once you get the job?

Re: How many online pros average +500k a year in the world?
Average 500k a year could be making 2 million one year and breaking even every year for 3 years after that that makes the number a little higher. Still I would think its 100-150 people because as most said no one puts in enough hours, and everyone plays games over their skill level.
