So you were Gonzaga before Gonzaga?

No, it was different, because we kept getting to the Final Four (86, 88, 89, 90) and couldn't quite close the deal. Lots of sympathy for Coach K back then, if you can believe it.

yep...I didn't mind Duke until the screwjob that took place in '91 in the Duke-UNLV game. No one cared it seemed, because it was 'the good guys' getting every benefit over 'the outlaws.' That game stands out as the worst of what sports has to offer.

That game is probably the greatest moment of my life. I think you're delusional about the refs, though. I've watched the game over and over and there weren't any glaringly bad calls.

Funny article on who UNC fans hate the most from their bitter rival.

I'm too young for most of Christians stuff but I really hate Wojo. How gay was his patting of mid court during a lot of games.

I was one of the few who voted Brian Davis. He screwed me out of a business deal out of college.

They shouldn't have listed Coach K as an option. This poll should've just been players IMHO.

1 man's junk is another man's gold. I bet a lot of tOSU fans were happy with their NC football title in 2000 but those on the other side, the Miami fans, probally thought they got robbed at the same time.

I'm grunching top 3 on the "most hated" list. I'm guessing

1) Laettner
2) Reddick
3) Wojo

My personal top 3 hated dookies would be

1) Wojo (the floor-slapping routine alone seals the top spot)
2) Melchionni - another feisty floor slapper. God I hated him.
3) Reddick--for his Christian rapping.

Edited to add: Holy mackerel did I nail that one.

Funny... the floor slap is a Coach K invention that started long before Wojo. It's intended to fire up the team, and the crowd, for ONE BIG DEFENSIVE STAND... but of course I've noticed that the other team scores about 85% of the time we do it.

BTW Chris Collins is my least favorite Duke player ever and I wanted to punch his lights out for 4 years.

Roy Williams signs 4 year extension (thru 2014-2015)

Great news for UNC fans.
