Why didn't they walk Tejada there with men on 1st and 3rd and no outs in the bottom of the 10th?
Or Kevin Millar |

SOP for Kyle Snyder pitching in the bottom of the 9th+ is to immediately put the winning run on 3rd, then get out of the jam.
Sigh. Fortunately, Tampa Bay is up next. |

[ QUOTE ] Fortunately, Tampa Bay is up next. [/ QUOTE ] LOL you just watch son. [/ QUOTE ] Unfortunately it's Monday Wakefield (13-10 4.81ERA) vs. Shields (9-7 4.32ERA) Tuesday Lester (1-0 6.43ERA) vs. Kazmir (9-7 3.58ERA) Wednesday Matsuzaka (13-8 3.59ERA) vs. Sonnanstine (1-8 6.35ERA) Probably as bad as it can get for Sox vs. Rays |

Again, a 4-5 road trip (including a West Coast swing) is not the end of the world.
Believe it or not, I'm more inclined to blame this one on all the runners we stranded early on, more so than Gagne. [ QUOTE ] Palmer is a really bad announcer [/ QUOTE ] Seriously? I enjoyed listening to him this afternoon. As for the radar gun at that park, I couldn't read what it was saying, as some brilliant graphic artist for the O's station decided that the best way to display the radar reading was white text on a green-and-white background. |

You guys getting scared yet? [/ QUOTE ] As I've stated, I'm not even going to look over my shoulder until the lead is down to four games. We're there now. So I'm taking a peek, but without a hint of "scared". |

I liked how on ATH Mariotti said the Yanks had no chance at the playoffs because they didn't go out and get Gagne, instead relying on a rookie he had never heard of :

Seems like more Sox fans today at Camden Yards aka Fenway Park south. [/ QUOTE ] I went to Saturday's game, and the ratio was at least 6:1 Sox to Orioles fans throughout the stadium, and my section was closer to 15:1. There was one rowdy O's fan and his friend near me who got kicked out for heckling Youkilis (he clearly had his attention, as Youks turned to face him several times between pitches). When security came down to get the guys, all they had to do was look for the orange shirts in the sea of red and blue. They even booted another O's fan in the row behind right behind them, who wasn't with the hecklers, just laughing at the some of the stuff he was shouting. So basically, the guy was ejected for wearing the home team's colors. Pretty funny. |
