plans:

now until august '08: be in athens with friends
summer 07': take internship job in real estate somewhere, possibly arizona
spring, maybe fall '09: investing classes

some time after i graduate: take go-getter job for small amounts of monies while still having poker.

man this makes me sick to my stomach. but i know this is a better decision than the alternative.

that is making huge amounts of money playing poker, having to answer to no one and living a baller life for the next 30 years?

I'm also tempted to visit thailand for a couple months. This guy I'm living with says an apartment is about 50$ a month.

Clayton,
I don't know you that well, but I have confidence that you will succeed. Having the balls to do this indicates to me that you are the type of person who doesn't accept failure. That's pretty sick.

Here's a fun hand. I had only been at the table like 10 hands or so. I saw him coldcall from BB with AdQd, c/r the flop Td7c3s flop, bet the 7d turn, and backdoor a flush and bet the river so I knew he sucked.

In that hand, even with the nut flush on the river, he bet between 1/2 and 3/4. There was another hand where he bet a little over pot on the river after bricking on a draw. This led me to believe that overbets were more likely to be bluffs.

I thought all in all, it was extremely likely to be a bluff. Also the timing tells indicated to me that he called the turn with a flush draw and missed it. Then on the river, he paused for a second after I made the weak ass bet, almost realizing how small it was and also realizing that no real strong hand makes that small of a value bet and decided to push.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (4 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

UTG checks, Hero checks.

Turn: ($30) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $20, UTG calls $20.

River: ($70) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)

Hmm, if you are who I think you are, I remember being floated only once, but most likely bluff-raised on another hand. Is your sn public?
