I've been screaming about Soto all year. His approach at the plate is AMAZING. Every AB for the year has been a good one, despite what his .143 AVG says.

He's for real, and I'm sure he'll make a great everyday catcher to whatever team Hendry is dumb enough to trade him to.

Soto should be penciled in as the starter next year. I think Blanco still has a year left on his contract if I'm not mistaken, so Kendall was just a rental. Kendall has hit well since coming to the Cubs though. I prayed we would get a couple of good months from him. We're halfway there. Clearly, I'd like to see Soto get most of the time now though.

I'm sure Soto will still be a Cub, but not because Hendry is all that excited about him.

The Cubs do have a good record when he starts and he has good chemistry with Z, so hopefully that will land him the starting job if his 1.100 OPS in Iowa doesn't =\

Looked like a pretty decent pitch. Low and away, ball just carried.

Dempster had the first 3 hitters he faced down 0-2 and managed to leave pitches out in the zone for all of them.

Why can't he be wild when needed?
