Default Re: NL Bots on Full Tilt

Here's a thought Full Tilt knew they were probably bots but don't care because it's good for their business. It's like having 50+ prop players that pay Full Tilt to play and can play endless hours keeping the games alive at all times.

It's so obvious but FT doesn't care because this botshop is helping make them hundreds of thousands every month, maybe more. Who would banish anyone making them hundreds of thousands.

LOL. You're calculations are miles out. How you arrive at "hundreds of thousands?"

You pay rake at approx. $5/table/hr. That's $60/hr playing 12 tables. 6 hrs a day = approx $350. $1k a day if 3 players played 6 hours. Which is approx. $30k that they pay.

On the topic of rake, many posters saying (I paraphrase) "I could set up a few bots/scripts/sweatshop and make a load each month off the rakeback alone" are missing the point that pre-rake break-even players are losing players. I.e. Rake back is a "small part-refund" of fees that you have to pay- it is not some sort of "Thanks very much for playing at our site" free bonus!

I wish this thread would die... I'm getting tired of the random observer coming to the tables and saying "so and so is a bot."

Of course... I think they are humans and I've played hours and hours with them, but that is not my point...

There are always fish at the tables!!!! Don't scare them off for me and Smart_Money and all the other regulars on Full Tilt's 1/2!!!

A fish seeing a "bot" comment and deciding to play elsewhere is -EV for me!

No matter where anyone stands on this issue this is truth.

I make jokes about this on 2p2 but, I would never speak about this at the tables.
